BFi OPTiLAS' team, thanks to its pan-European collaboration with Ocean Optics, is very proud to announce the latest improvements to its range of NIRQuest miniature NIR Spectrometers.

The new generation of NIRQuest delivers 20% higher throughput, improved sensitivity and up to 3x better noise performance over previous NIR spectrometers. Plus, with more options, external triggering and excellent signal-to-noise performance, NIRQuest is the smart, flexible solution to your NIR analysis needs. With higher throughput, the system is more sensitive.

For some applications, that means shorter integration times are needed to collect signal. NIRQuest provides greater sensitivity in both its 512- and 256-element versions. Higher sensitivity allows you to integrate for longer periods with less noise interference and provides better signal-to-noise performance. For the NIRQuest512, we measured Noise Equivalent Power (NEP) of <0.5 picoWatts at 1550 nm with 100 ms integration time. For the NIRQuest256-2.5, we measured NEP of ~25 picowatts at 2050 nm with 30 ms integration time.

BFi OPTiLAS' team is very proud to announce two important news regarding the extension of its collaboration with Labshere. First of all, following the acquisition of SphereOptics by Labsphere, BFi OPTiLAS will now also both product ranges in countries where the collaboration was already in place i.e. Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal and Spain.

On top of that, the agreement has also been extended to include the Nordic territories and will, from now on, cover also Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden.

The combination of BFi OPTiLAS, Labsphere and SphereOptics companies' capabilities will offer European customers a whole new range of products, offering state of the art performance and a very competitive price, with the local support of a well known service organization.

BFi OPTiLAS, thanks to its collaboration with Ocean Optics, announce a new range of low cost spectrometers, with extended spectral range allowing covering the full UV-NIR range from 200 nm to 1050 nm, with a resolution of 2 nm.

This is available with the either of the well known USB and JAZ optical benches. A special grating has been developed to cover the full spectral range with very good efficiency.

The unique JAZ concept allows measurement in the field with a stand-alone ultra-compact unit.

The ARCspectro HT is a very compact patented static polarisation Fourier Transform Spectrometer. The ARCspectro NIR is a patented MEMS NIR Fourier Transform Spectrometer. It uses no grating and a single photodiode as the detector.
It offers an unmatched spectral range in a single instrument (up to 500-2600 nm with no moving parts) with 20 cm-1 resolution.

The ARCspectro ANIR is a lamellar Fourier Transform Spectrometer offering unique performance from a compact design and at a very attractive price. Integrating active laser position control for self-calibration, it covers the full range from Visible to NIR (2.6 microns) with an 8 cm-1 resolution.

It is fiber coupled (very high throughput using 1 mm fiber, allowing easy light coupling), USB powered, and integrates a significant improvement on the scan rate versus previous generation of Fourier Transform MEMS based instruments, resulting in higher sensitivity.
Custom versions operated at up to 4.5 microns can be proposed on request.

BFi OPTiLAS, exclusive European partner of Bristol Instruments, Inc. is excited to introduce a new laser wavelength meter for scientists and engineers who need to know the exact wavelength of their mid-infrared lasers. Now, researchers using sources such as tunable quantum cascade lasers for high-resolution spectroscopy, photochemistry, or optical sensing applications can achieve more meaningful experimental results with accurate laser wavelength information.

The new model 621B-MIR is designed to operate over the entire wavelength range of 4 to 11 μm. Proven 621 series Michelson interferometer technology is used to measure absolute laser wavelength to an accuracy of ‡ 1 part per million. As with all Bristol Instruments laser wavelength meters, the measurement accuracy of the 621B-MIR system is guaranteed with continuous calibration using a built-in wavelength standard. BFi OPTiLAS also offers Quantum Cascade lasers, optical components and other photonic equipments in the MIR range.
